Immunizations
Did you know that vaccines are needed throughout your entire life – not just as a child? Vaccines are important to your health and here are three reasons why.
1. You and your family may be at risk for serious diseases that are still common here in the US. Every year, thousands of people get sick, and hospitalized, and even die from illnesses such as the flu, pneumonia, and COVID-19.
2. Getting sick means missing out on work, school, family time, vacations, and other responsibilities. Most of us can’t afford to be sick for more than a few days and getting vaccinated is the best protection we have.
3. Vaccines are one of the safest ways to protect your health. They lower your chances of getting sick because they work WITH your bodies natural defenses to produce antibodies which help fight off diseases. Additionally, vaccines reduce your chances of spreading certain diseases to family and friends.
Talk with our team today about which vaccines are right for you and your family. In most cases, a prescription is not required, and your insurance may cover a portion or the full cost.

Medicare D Plans
Starting the three months prior to your 65th birthday, you are eligible to enroll into a Medicare Part D plan, but knowing which plan is right for you can be challenging. Medicare Part D plans provide coverage to help pay for prescription drugs you need. If you are turning 65, we highly encourage you to talk with our team and review your Medicare Part D options. We can help you analyze your current medications and healthcare needs, and review which plans will be best suited for you.
Additionally, Medicare Open Enrollment happens every year from October 15 – December 7 and everyone who is on a Medicare Part D plan, has the chance to change their plan to better align with their current medication needs. What each plan covers changes every year, so it is important to take some time to review your plan to ensure it is still the best plan for you. Oftentimes, changing your plan can get you better coverage and save you money. Even if you are currently happy with your plan, it is best to review your options as there may be another plan that will work better for your needs.
